Never before have so many new works been heard as during the upcoming edition of the November Music festival. With no less than 50 premieres by makers and performers from inland and abroad, 21 composition assignments and more than 100 different concerts, November Music's 30th edition shows how diverse and vital the latest music is. November Music 2022 takes place from 3 to 13 November at various locations in ’s-Hertogenbosch and opens for the second time with the FAQ Festival for electronic music.
With the three festival composers Joey Roukens, Bryce Dessner and Jürg Frey, artist-in residence Remy van Kesteren and the two ensembles in focus Silbersee and Ensemble Lucilin from Luxembourg, the November Music festival is rolling out the red carpet for a great diversity of national and international artists. Unique is the arrival of Dhafer Yousef and Anouar Brahem, two of the world's very best ud players. Festival composer Joey Roukens is this years writer of the Bosch Requiem, which will be performed by the Dutch Kamerkoor and Amsterdam Sinfonietta.
