Simulacrum is serving up John Zorn's music in hyperdrive. Fragments of metal, jazz, avant-rock, noise eruptions, atonal sound explorations, and even minimalism are fed into a musical pressure cooker. A power jazz fusion band led by the organist and keyboardist John Medeski who is known, particularly, for his avant-jazz ensemble Medeski Martin & Wood. The guitarist Matt Hollenberg will have his back while Kenny Grohowski, on drums, will offer tremendous support as per usual.
