Caffè Sospeso is a music theatre performance created by the American/Dutch composer David Dramm. Influences from rock, minimal music, jazz, pop, and avant-garde converge in his energetic music. The spotlight is on a mother and her son, portrayed by the cellists Doris Hochscheid and Harald Austbø. Both are madly in love with their instrument but due to circumstances, they end up on the streets after all. The duo needs to reinvent itself. Both as musicians and in relation to each other.
