Organ music is experiencing a true renaissance. This year, the Dutch Composer Laureate Martin Fondse was granted a commission by the Bach Festival in Dordrecht that he was eager to accept. The invitation was to write a work for the Bach organ and four eminent musicians, to be performed in the Grote Kerk van Dordrecht (Church of Our Lady). The Morningstar Cantate will now be played on the magnificent organ of the Grote Kerk in 's-Hertogenbosch (Great Church).
